FAQs:

• Do you teach CPR ?

Yes, we do teach CPR, but it is not for certification. It is ideal for those who already are CPR certified and need revision. We will bring you up to date with the most recent CPR recommendations (especially for those who learnt CPR more than 5 years ago). We encourage all participants to gain CPR certification at your local centres.

• Why is 17-18yrs the minimum age for this class ?

This is because we have found that the material taught is best appreciated and understood by more mature students, especially our full day course. Also, the course teaches management issues in addition to pure first aid, thus making it more suited to trip leaders, for example.

• Do you issue certification ?

Yes, we do, in conjunction with the Singapore Mountaineering Federation, which is the National Sporting Association (NSA) for Mountain Sports in Singapore. The photoID card is valid for 3 years.

• How long is the certification valid for ?

The photoID card is valid for 3 years

• Can you customise your course to our needs?
