BASIC WILDERNESS FIRST AID COURSE SCHEDULE (1.5 day course) DAY 2 0850 - 0900 Registration 0900 - 1030 PRACTICAL SESSION 2* ( Wound Management / Improvised Splints / Scenario discussion ) 1030 - 1115 PRACTICAL SESSION 3* ( Improvised litters, carries) 1115 - 1130 Break 1130 - 1245 COURSE TEST** ( 3 Groups: CPR / Splinting & Bandaging / MCQ Test ) 1300 End of Course *PRACTICAL SESSION GROUPINGS SESSION 1: 2 groups SESSION 2: 3 groups SESSION 3: 1 group - demo then split into 2 for practical Group details will be sent to students TEST** 3 groups, rotating between testing stations, 20min at each station with 5min turn over time |
